Well, our weekend in Breezy Point must have taken so much out of us, we forgot to update the website! Sheesh! What the heck is wrong with us? Could it be our utter excitedness that we are really, truly, finally tracking for our next studio record? Could it be that Doc's Kids have been working their arses off for the less-fortunate this holiday season? Or could we just be trying to enhance the suspense of our debut at the famous Santorini's in St. Louis Park?

Oh, you heard THAT right! This Thursday night, December 15th, we'll be at one of the best Greek restaurants in the Twin Cities, which also happens to house a classy bar where Lazy Susan tunes will be onstage for the first time (and hopefully many more to come). Stressed out from Christmas shopping? Kwanzaa got you running all over town? Hanukkah Harry not coming to your house? Join us for a drink and some great Greek food, and we promise your holiday blues will disappear! See you there!

11.25.05

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! A week from tonight (Friday) we'll be hitting the stage for the first of two consecutive nights at our favorite resort in the wilderness, Breezy Point! Yes, it's time again for a trip back to the Commander Bar, where the garbage pizza is almost as famous as the way the floor shakes when the Lazy Susan takes the stage! And now that some snow is on the ground, you may just see us on the "slopes" the next day, riding those inner tubes like the Olympic Hopefuls we aren't! So pack up the car with cheez-whiz and beef jerky, raid the ATM for some spendin' money, and head north on MN-371 with us for a weekend to be remembered - as long as your memory doesn't become impaired for some reason or other! Until then - finish up that turkey, wouldja?

11.16.05

The Lazy Susan is back in action this Friday at Babe's in Lakeville. If you haven't checked out their unique combination of killer sandwiches and a money booth, why not make Friday the night? And where else can you dance off the night's meal on a hardwood dance floor, all while enjoying some tunes courtesy of the Susan? We'll see you there!

11.06.05

Long time, no update! WELL, we certainly can't forget to mention how much fun we had at our last two gigs in October, at the St. Croix Live in Stillwater and Tom Reid's in St. Paul. Both were an absolute blast, and we thank those of you who attended and made it such an enjoyable time. BUT we'll reserve the rest of this quick note to give props to our label-mates, Doc's Kids, who've just release an amazing new CD, "Ballyhoo", and will follow that by releasing a Christmas album later this week! In fact, our upcoming show at the Acoustic Cafe in Winona is really a DK Holiday party with Mike D. along for the ride! Be sure to check out their schedule for info about that show and the many other Toys for Tots benefit shows they'll be playing over the next two months!

10.15.05

OK, that's enough teasing already! SOME of you are certainly dying to know what this extra-special surprise is, no? Remember, it's: A) something never seen before on this site, B) something we're mighty glad to share with our fans, and C) something we're pretty proud of, too. It's a "montage" of a special DVD we shot last year at Serum's in Anoka, which, as you know, is one of our all-time favorite venues - making it the perfect place to shoot this video. We share this now for all those of you who can't make it to a show every once and a while, and just want to chill out with some of the Lazy Susan on your computer monitor. Special thanks go to Dave Lehnen & crew for the video shoot, and multi-media whiz Johnny Shallow of L.A. fame for compressing the montage down to a reasonable download size. Enjoy, true fans!

10.02.05

Before we get to that extra-special treat (which the mailing list subscribers are getting in their inbox now...why aren't you signed up?), we'll have to remind you that October in Anoka is simply something special - but you were already planning on seeing us at Serum's this weekend anyway, right? OK, then! We'll see you there!

09.25.05

Just a quick note for those of you who have been wondering what's going on in the Lazy Susan camp...not only do we have some SWEET gigs lined up for October, but we plan to have something EXTRA-special here within the week...something you've never seen before on this web site! Stay tuned!

09.13.05

It's been a few days since we've returned from another wild and crazy weekend up in Breezy Point at the Commander Bar, and we simply can't let it go unsaid that we had a blast and can't wait to return. Special thanks to all the fiendish partiers who made last weekend's shows extra special. We couldn't have done it without you!

See you at Babe's in Lakeville on Saturday night!

09.07.05

OK, we've been out of commission for a few weeks, and we're ridiculously excited to get up to Breezy Point this weekend and pull out all the stops for our favorite watering hole up north, the Commander Bar. We'll be there Friday and Saturday night, bringing the rock as only we can. Join us for a trip up to the great north woods while the weather is still good, why don't you?

And just a quick note about some new additions to the tour page - including a slot alongside (well, sort of) Paul McCartney in downtown St. Paul! Check out the link for details!

08.26.05

Two quick items: first, thanks to all the bachelor & bachelorette parties who made last weekend at the St. Croix Live an absolute blast - not only for us, but for all our friends & family (T&T!) who were so kind to come out and support us as well. All of you were terrific and we simply loved putting on a show for you. Second, for those of you in the southern part of the state tonight, check out some Lazy Susan tunes at a new venue for us, the After Midnight Bar in Owatonna. We'll see you there!

08.14.05

Halfway through our "small town downtowns" tour this month, we have to send out an extra special shout to all the friends who came out to see us party outdoors in some of the best weather we've had all year. We don't usually do this, but this time we're naming names: George & friends; Adam, Katie, Chad & Cassie; and especially a certain Miss Wilson (soon to be Kimball) who chose to celebrate part of her bachelorette with us - congrats Angie! The only bummer for us Friday night was not being able to spend enough time chatting with all of you in between sets.

But alas, mere pleasantries are not enough to stand in the way of the Rock! And after two weeks of acoustic and semi-acoustic shows, let's just say we are even more ready to turn up the amplifiers and hit the big stage at the St. Croix Live in downtown Stillwater. This is absolutely one of our favorite places to play and we certainly hope you'll join us this Saturday. Check out the tour page for details!

07.31.05

A big thanks to the Summit Brewery for having us down Friday night for the Lightning Run benefit for Diabetes. We had a great time entertaining all the bikers and brewers alike, and managed to walk away without too many mosquito bites. You couldn't have asked for better weather this weekend for outdoor shows, and we lucked out on Friday evening. Then last night at Vic's was truly intimate, with some late night revelers cheering us on as Justin channeled Peter Buck and brought out the mandolin for the first time in quite a while.

For those of you in the mood for a mid-week acoustic show, Mr. Rob Weaver will be opening up for a solo Justin Bell appearance at the Dunn Brothers on Grand & Snelling this Tuesday. Tunes start at 8...

Looking ahead to the rest of August, we have one show per week for the next few weeks, as we kick off our "small town downtowns" tour. Yep, we're slated to hit the downtowns of St. Paul Park, Victoria, Stillwater & Owatonna this coming month. Each of these cities combines a small town feel with urban-style downtowns that are complete with their own attractions. Stop by early and hit a local restaurant, take a walk by the river or lake, then cap off your night with a Lazy Susan show. As summer winds down, what else could you possibly need? (OK, besides another case of Pizza Rolls...)

07.21.05

As usual, Serum's was simply HOT last week, and not just in terms of temperature! We each lost several pounds in sweat laying it out on the line for an amazing crowd. Tomorrow night we'll be showing off our new scrawniness at Babe's in Lakeville, and Saturday we play a benefit for Muscular Dystrophy in Chisago City. See the tour page for details!

07.12.05

Oh, the slacking ways of the webmaster. What can we say? We were just a tad wiped after that intense June...but now the batteries are recharged and we're ready to hit the stage at Serum's in Anoka, where the sweat on your brow could be from dancing with the famously energetic crowd - or from the famously spicy chicken wings! Either way, there's plenty of spirits on tap to cool you off at the bar or on the patio - so join us on Friday or Saturday, or BOTH! We'll see you there!

06.28.05

When we weren't getting parking tickets, we were absolutely thrilled to be playing Vic's last Saturday night, especially since the small crowd on hand was so attentive and appreciative. We'll play there any day of the week - and look! We're back there next month! AND there's now more news on the Diabetes benefit we'll be playing on the 29th - the St. Paul Lightning Run.

But for more immediate attention - those of you planning on spending your 4th of July holiday on Mille Lacs Lake might want to know we'll be taking over the Blue Goose in Garrison on Saturday night. We've heard stories about how rowdy this bar is - so needless to say we're excited to hit the road! See you there!

06.22.05

Mucho thanks to all the fans who made this last weekend in Breezy Point another one to remember, from making the floor shake during "Good" to dancing their hearts out to one of our new originals, "Tiny Earthquakes". Die-hard fans have noticed that we have added "Earthquakes" and "Something Else Entirely" to our regular sets, as we test out material for our still-in-the-works new album. More details on that soon!

This weekend we're totally excited to play Vic's on St. Anthony Main for the very first time. This is a late show, starting at 10:30, and we'll be appearing as an acoustic 3-piece. But come early and check out the outdoor band, or stay late for some drinks and the amazing atmosphere Vic's is known for. We'll see you there!

06.14.05

Well, it's been a whirlwind couple of days in the Lazy Susan camp, to say the least. First, mucho thanks to BPZ for filling in at the "four" spot on Friday and Saturday. His kick-ass trombone (and tambourine) solos at Floyd's and the Salida Depot were simply inspiring - literally hypnotizing the crowd into bombastic dance moves. We absolutely loved playing outside at Floyd's for the first time...and loved following that "quiet" show up with a crank-it-up-to-11 rock show in Becker. Needless to say, we're looking forward to return trips to those bars.

AND of course, last night's show at Peavey Plaza was extra-special, despite the fact that we only got to play an hour before we were shut down by Seal, then Mother Nature's wrath. But hey, that's one hour MORE than we've ever played at Peavey Plaza before, so we were quite happy - and thankful for all the friends who came out and the new friends we made after the show. Thanks for your support everyone! Pictures coming soon!

This weekend it's back to the Commander Bar in Breezy Point for a weekend of rock, sun, golf, tennis...you name it! We'll see you there!

- Justin, Ben, Mike & Rob

06.07.05

I would like to take the time to personally thank all the family, friends (one of whom actually took a picture!), and fans that came out to see us at O'Gara's last Friday night, which made my 30th birthday a night to remember. Extra special thanks to Robin for hosting all the guests, the guys from Shaggin' Wagon for hooking us up with a great gig, and Justin, Ben & Rob for letting me join them onstage. Now if only I could remember what happened after midnight......
Thanks again! - Mike D.

06.01.2005

Just a quick reminder that we'll see you all at O'Gara's this Friday night for Mike's 30th Birthday Bash! If you haven't gotten our latest mailing list edition, you missed out on all the details! So you'll just have to check out our tour page to see all the places we'll be next month, and join us on Friday for the big bash!

05.24.2005

So, what have we been doing over the past few weeks? Well, practicing for one. And not just for the record EIGHT gigs we have lined up for June, no, we've got an even higher mission in mind: a new album. We know, we've said that before. But it looks like we've finally got the songs, and the drive, to start recording this summer. You can stay tuned for more details, or even better, join us at one of many gigs next month to get more info straight from the source. What happens if you stay home? We can guarantee you'll miss some things that have NEVER been seen before at a Lazy Susan gig....and may never bee seen AGAIN!

And yes...we ENJOY being this cryptic! Enjoy your weekend, and we'll see you at O'Gara's next Friday!

05.10.2005

Time to pause for a public service announcement: if you haven't signed up for our mailing list yet, or thought you did at one time but haven't gotten e-mails from us in the last few months, please take the time to sign up now. It's never been easier - just use the form at right and hit the "Join" button! Why mention this now? Because we'll be sending out some mailing-list only news in the next few weeks detailing all the surprises we have for you in June! Sure, you can check out the tour page to see where we'e're going to be...but you want JUST A BIT more than that, don't you? I thought so! So sign up now, sign your friends up, and spread the word: we're on a mission - a mission to make live rock and roll fun again!

04.28.2005

It's been a while since we updated the page, and for once, there's actually a good reason! We've been "woodshedding" and working on TWO brand new songs, which Winona fans were privileged enough to witness at last Friday's show. Heck, we even managed to work in Justin's new mandolin. It may be a while before THAT appears again...

Now it's time for the good folks at Doc's Landing to get their share of the Lazy Susan fun. Not only do we have the new original songs, but we've been testing out some new covers as well. So come on down and join us by the lake, why don't you?

04.12.2005

Alright, folks, weeee'rrrrreeee baaack! Yes, this weekend kicks off our official return to Twin Cities stages after our brief hiatus. And we can think of no better stage to start on than the St. Croix Live in lovely downtown Stillwater. A mild breeze off the water, tasty food and strong drinks, and a little Lazy Susan. Sounds like a perfect way to start off spring to us! See you there!

Also, there's been some updates to the tour page lately - be sure to check it out and mark your calendars!

04.01.2005

No April Fool's Day jokes here, just a quick congratulations to the Bell Family, who welcomed Dylan Mae into the world early the morning of March 30th. She joins Ava Charlie Young as the newest members of the extended Lazy Susan family. Congratulations all around!

Like our families, the tour page is growing! We'll be back before you know it...

03.08.2005

Congratulations to the Young family, on the birth of a beautiful baby girl last Friday afternoon. More details to follow...

But before we forget, we want to thank all the friends and family who came out to see us last weekend at Floyd's and Doc's, which made our "pre-hiatus" shows extra special for all. Despite being violently ill, I managed to plow through the gigs, Kyle Bonderson finished up his tenure filling in for Ben (thanks Kyle!), and BPZ entertained the masses once again at Doc's. Oh yeah, Justin was typically astronomical, too!

Speaking of our hiatus, it just got one week shorter with the announcement of a very special gig on April 16th. Where will we be? Well, you'll just have to visit our tour page to find out! (I'm such a tease...)

Enjoy the spring, everyone - we'll see you in a few weeks!

-- Mike D

03.03.2005

He's baaaack! Yep, Rob Weaver is fully recovered and back in action this weekend, so all you fan club members can come join us for his famous "There's no rock without the Alvarez" monologue - and some Susan-flavored rock and roll, of course! See you there!

03.01.2005

We learned this weekend that when you absolutely, positively have to bring the rock, you simply must use a trombone! Accept no substitutes! Yep, we rocked Babe's in Lakeville on Saturday night with BPZ on trombone and percussion ALL NIGHT, blowing away the clientele and earning us a return trip this summer. Can we get a "hell, yeah" for BPZ?

As an encore, we'll be returning to two of our favorite neighborhood bar hangouts this coming weekend - Floyd's on Friday and Doc's Landing on Saturday. Check out the tour page for more info!

02.26.2005

Special thanks to Jon Earl from Clovis for filling in on guitar last night at Serum's! Along with Kyle Bonderson on drums, and BPZ on trombone, he helped Serum's rock just as hard as it usually does! Let's hope his trip to Colorado is now fueled with some extra Lazy Susan juice...Now tonight it's down to Lakeville's Babe's Sports Bar & Grill, where we plan to pull out all the stops to entertain the folks in downtown Lakeville. We'll see you there!

02.23.2005

After a few weeks off, we've decided to trade Rob Weaver to the Oakland Raiders for an Outside Linebacker and draft choices to be named later. We're not sure how these personnel moves will affect our salary cap, but we're pretty sure that this weekend's shows in Anoka and Lakeville will rock! Come up to see us at Anoka Party Central, Serum's Good Time Emporium on Friday night. Then, Saturday night, we head to the south metro to the newest hot spot in downtown Lakeville, Babe's Sports Bar & Grill! We'll see you there!

"And everybody knows the boss, a rolling stone gathers no Moss."
- Jimi Hendrix

02.09.2005

Thanks to the friends, family, and fans that came out to see us in Owatonna last Saturday! Needless to say, we'll be back at Buster's before you know it! But in the meantime, it's back to the metro, with our second visit to the Park Place down in St. Paul Park. This is a new bar in an old-school downtown, out to prove it has something for everyone. Join us, won't you?

02.04.2005

Congratulations to Scarlet Haze for moving on to the next round of the Cafe Clash on Wednesday night. Both they and blues-rockers Stereoscope were worthy opponents indeed! It seems many people are of the opinion that Scarlet Haze will win the whole thing! But who knows? Maybe the other bands left in the competition will prove us wrong...

For those of you in the southern half of the state that have been Jonesing for some Lazy Susan action, Justin and the boys are making their first appearance in Owatonna on Saturday night. See the tour page for details!

- Justin, Ben, Mike & Rob

01.27.2005
****BIG NEWS!****

Breaking news from the Lazy Susan Press: We're one of 12 bands that have been selected to compete in the Hard Rock Cafe's "Cafe Clash" band contest to become their Official House Band! Sponsored by Drive105, the Onion, and Pachyderm Studios, this contest is sure to give us a great deal of exposure and a shot at some great prizes. But we need YOU, our dedicated fans, to come on out and scream your heads off for us. Round one takes place over the next four Wednesdays, and we're up this coming Wednesday, February 2nd. The show is from 8-10 pm, but we won't know our time slot until that night. So just show up at 8 and see the other two bands as well, who will surely be some of Minnesota's finest. Click on the image to the right for more details about the contest or visit our tour page for a link to the Hard Rock's Minneapolis location!

We'll see you at the Hard Rock on Wednesday!

01.24.2005

Just how hard did the floor shake (from dancing) at the Commander Bar this past weekend? Did the crowd really demand encores BOTH nights? Can you actually sweat OUT more alcohol than you drink IN? And finally, does the rope tow for the tubing hill make your arms hurt for days? You can get the answers to all these questions (and more) ONE way, and one way ONLY: come see us this weekend in Stillwater. The St. Croix Live is one of the classiest clubs in the metro, in a beautiful downtown setting that is ridiculously easy to get to (just stay on 36 East until you hit downtown). Come down and see us, and you won't regret it - we promise!

01.16.2005

"Arctic Blast" month continued Saturday night at our old stomping grounds, Doc's Landing, where a ton of great fans and friends came out to make it an extra-special evening, despite the bitter cold outside. Thanks to everyone for joining us on such on an evening when so many others were too wimpy to venture beyond their living room!

But are we satisfied with defying the odds and playing in sub-zero weather? NO! This weekend, we're heading NORTH into the Brainerd area to revisit our home-away-from home, Breezy Point. We're planning on serving up an extra helping of rock up at the Commander Bar, so hitch up the snowmobiles and join us, won't you? Great music, great hospitality, & cheap liquor - what else could you want? See you there!

01.09.2005

Well, we certainly had a BLAST at the St. Croix Live last Friday night! What an awesome club! A HUGE Lazy Susan thank you to all of our good friends who joined us, to Andrea's going away party, and to the guy who serenaded us while loading out. We must say we are looking forward to returning to downtown Stillwater as soon as possible...

But in the meantime, we have to keep our die-hard fans down at Doc's Landing warm this weekend, as the forecast shows a bitter -17 for Saturday night! BRRRR! But we Minnesotans don't let cold stop us, do we? Heck no! If the Vikings can beat Green Bay at Lambeau, WE can get our butts out to the DL to celebrate! And you know there's no sound guy that makes us sound better than Doc's Mike Boylen, so you're just gonna have to brave the cold and join us, aren't you? See you there!

01.01.2005

Welcome to our new website! Hope you like the changes we've put in place here.

For starters, we've got a whole new look and feel - hard to miss! You can navigate around the site using the links above, and if you want to return here, just click on our name in the top-center of the page.

We've also updated the info page, added a new links page, and added easy-to-use forms to sign up on our mailing list and order merchandise.

From now on, only the latest news will appear on this home page, and we'll have the next few gigs listed on the right. We've also got pages to see where we've been before and where we're going on our current tour, so you can plan further in advance if you so desire!

See you all real soon!
- Justin, Ben, Mike & Rob

12.14.04

Geez, almost a month with no news! You can tell we've been busy working on the new website, set to debut on New Years Day, 2005. We think you're gonna like it! In the meantime, why not join us at Serum's this weekend - we'll be filming the Saturday night show for a DVD!

And before we forget - thanks to everyone who came out to see us or join us onstage in Winona and Rochester last weekend - we had a blast, including the first ever flute solo at a Lazy Susan gig! Ya just never know what you're gonna get...more reason to see us every time we hit the stage!

11.18.04

We're in the middle of a short break before the holidays, but in case you've already got your calendar for next year picked out, we posted some new dates on the schedule for you to mark down. More to come soon!

11.07.04

An extra special thanks goes out to all the friends that came to see us - AND stayed to see us - last weekend at the 5 Corners and Lord Fletcher's. The Rob Weaver posse continues to grow with each sighting - if you haven't joined his official fan club yet, what's keeping you?

After Justin's solo show this week at Dunn Bros (with Mike D opening with his Nigel Tufnel impersonation), we're taking a few weeks off here at the end of November - but we'll be back JUST before Turkey Day to debut at a new club in St. Paul Park called "The Park Place" (11/24). Hope you can join us!

10.28.04

My fellow Americans:

Sorry for the sparse updates lately. I'm gonna take over for Mike this time. We had a great time returning to Doc's Landing last weekend Friday & Sunday. This week takes us to Anoka for a spooooky gig at Dirkin's pub with T&A on bass again (Mike refuses to go back to Anoka until we cover Spinal Tap's "Big Bottoms"). Next week we will take the stage at 5 Corners in Minneapolis with Eau Claire's own "Society" on Thursday, followed by our return to Lord Flecher's on Lake Minnetonka... "we got our boats full of gas, oh yes..." on Friday. But between Dirkin's & 5 Corners... GET OUT AND VOTE!!!

God Bless America

j. bell

10.09.04

Long time, no update. So sorry! This weekend we're at Serum's in Anoka, with special guest T&A on bass. We've added a few new gigs to the schedule page, and we're planning a website overhaul for the end of the calendar year. So stay tuned!

09.16.04

GREAT news! As a result of some very enthusiastic reviews from GarageBand.com members, "Don't You Need Me" will be Track of the Day on Monday, the 20th of September, 2004! We're very excited about this recognition, and hope you go check it out - the song will be featured on GarageBand.com's Blues front page, which you can see by clicking here. Go there next Monday, and you'll see US!

And just a reminder, if you're itchin' to see us in person, we'll be at our favorite downtown St. Paul hangout, Tom Reid's Hockey Pub, tonight! Join us for $5 pitchers, great wings, and acoustic-flavored Lazy Susan tunes - and no cover!

09.12.04

Hey everyone - remember that GarageBand stuff we were meddling with earlier this year? Well, it looks like we might finally have a track from "you...up in lights" that is meeting favor with that site's patrons! Currently #51 on the Blues charts, "Don't You Need Me" is rising fast! Click on the link below to see what people are saying!

09.08.04

OK, so it looks like it's gonna be NOON on Saturday - you heard it here first - for our hour-long, original, outdoor set at the Art on the Kinni festival. It's not often we get to play this kind of gig, so be sure to c'mon down and check it out! Weather report for Saturday: partly cloudy and a high of 67. Sounds like fun to us!

PLUS, we just scored another Thursday night slot at our favorite Hockey Pub, Tom Reid's in downtown St. Paul. We'll be there next week, on the 16th, doing our "mostly acoustic" set - but lest you think this rocks any less than our full-blown electric shows...you got another think comin'! So you'll just have to join us to see for yourself...and hey, did we mention they usually have $5 pitchers there on Thursday? Mmmm....beer.

See you Saturday!

09.02.04

And we're taking another short break here at the beginning of September to gear up for some really amazing things this fall. But we won't be gone long! Be sure to check back here often to see what time we're playing at River Falls' Art on the Kinni festival - right now we think it'll be either noon or 11 am. Either way, it's sure to be an hour of outdoor-rock insanity!

But before we take off and let y'all enjoy the Labor Day weekend, lets be sure to note that we had a blast up in Duluth at Charlie's last Friday night, and sharing the stage with Clovis at Bunker's was nothing short of magic on Tuesday...as you can see from the picture at right!

See you all real soon!
- Justin, Ben, Mike & Rob

08.23.04

WHEW! Well, that was one heck of a Lazy Susan weekend! Once again, the chilly "summer" air prevented us from playing outside at Floyd's, but once again, we brought down the house inside! Sandwich that between a gig in Faribault and a barnburning 40 minutes at the Dinkytowner last night, and you got yourselves some tired musicians!

Fortunately for us, our gig at Bunker's got postponed from tomorrow to NEXT Tuesday, August 31st. (We told you to check back!) So now we have time to recuperate...and, oh yeah - squeeze in a trip to our favorite city on Lake Superior, Duluth! That's right, on Friday we'll be making our first visit to this scenic city by taking up residence at Charlie's, in the heart of downtown. If you're in the mood for a nice weekend "up north", why don't you join us?

If not, then it's a moral imperative that you see us open up for our pals Clovis at Bunker's next week. We'll see you there!

08.18.04

OK, so it's hard to follow up a prediction about "events" with total, utter...silence. Yep, we've been slackin' on the news page...but we've been busy! Doin' what, you ask? Well, fillin' up the gigs page, for one! Yep, we've added a bunch of new dates through the end of the year, and we're not done yet!

We want to thank all of the friends we've made over the past few weeks at the Black Dawg in Burnsville, Jaxx in Albert Lea, and our return visit to Star Central in Columbia Heights. If you were there, you witnessed what we call "leaving our heart and soul on the stage". And we do it every night - so you simply MUST join us this weekend as we hit the road for 4 shows in 5 days!

We'll kick things off at Boxer's in Faribault - just down I-35 - where we'll help this kick-arse club break in their BRAND NEW stage! Then it's back to our favorite joint in Victoria - Floyd's - for an extra special, outdoor acoustic show...weather permitting. But don't worry, if it rains, we'll just move inside and bring the house down!

Then on Sunday we'll invade the University of Minnesota's student neighborhood and blast out an hour of all-original Lazy Susan material at the Dinkytowner Cafe. This is your best chance to hear our new song, "Cassandra", which is destined to climb the charts. Finally, we've got a tentative date opening up for our buds in Clovis at their house-gig, Bunker's, on Tuesday the 24th. Check back here early next week for confirmation on that show!

08.01.04

Prediction: August and everything after in '04 will be quite eventful for this merry band of travelers we have come to know as Justin Bell & Lazy Susan. The gig page has been re-stocked with new dates and venues, the guys are geared up and ready to rock after their 3-week hiatus, and new material is in the works as we speak. Could a new studio album be far off? Time will tell, true believers - time will tell!
